About

I come from Ngee Ann Polytechnics, Electronic & Computer Engineering. In this course, I have learnt both electronic skills and some programming skills. Although I have good result in both electronics subjects and programming related subjects, I have great enthusiasm for gaining more knowledge about computing. I was deeply inspired by my father who encouraged me to use computers from an early age. It is truly fascinating that in this modern day, computers have become an essential part of life in various sectors, from household uses to developing software for complicated problems solving.

Thus, I have to obtain more knowledge and in order to achieve this, I have looked up a number of online tutorials about JavaScript, HTML and CSS programming and completed practical coding exercises in my free time. This practical experience has helped me to develop my knowledge of computer science.

After I graduated from my high school and during my school holidays in Ngee Ann Poly, I had been working part-time jobs as a Hotel restaurant waiter, Challenger IT Support (MIS) and Challenger warehouse packer. Those experiences are meaningful and interesting as I learnt that decent social skills and patience are crucial for ones to success in their respective career. Skills related to IT support, warehouse skills and communication skills have been useful during my internship in Engineering Good, a charity organization. I am sure that I will benefit from those useful skills and they will assist my goals whenever and wherever.

I spend my free time doing a variety of recreations, among them there are jogging, playing badminton, gaming and the list goes on. These leisure activities are not only helping me in managing my stress but also keeping me healthy physically and mentally. Thus, I can keep my mind crystal clear to study at my best.

I believe that I am an optimistic and enthusiastic person when it comes to solving complicated problems. I am also confident that I am developing better interpersonal skills and time management skills through living abroad independently. Thus, I also believe that I am capable of building a better quality of a product as I enhance my personalities.

I will be anticipating to further my studies and looking forward to pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science. It would be so exhilarating if I have an opportunity to be employed in the relevant field in the future.
